This is our kit for the Caterpillar 3412E series engine. These engines can be found in many applications, including mobile construction equipment, marine, forestry, and power generation.
Our kit for the Caterpillar 938G Wheel Loader protects the muffler, manifold, turbo, and transition pipe from flammable debris in the work environment, and protects personnel from serious burns.
The Caterpillar 836F is used in landfills around the world. HeatBlocker is successfully protecting the engine, wiring, and hydraulic hoses from the intense heat generated by the engine, and from flammable trash at the site.
This is an example of a kit designed for smaller applications: the Toyota 8000 Forklift. Here we see a small diameter pipe and muffler protected by HeatBlocker.
Mining applications particularly benefit from HeatBlocker protection. This photo shows our insulation on the Tamrock 650D Mining Scoop.
Forestry equipment is constantly in danger of fire damage from combustible debris. HeatBlocker kits, such as this turbo transition cover for a Peterson 5000 Chipper, provide a barrier to explosive materials and fluids.
In Marine applications, HeatBlocker installed on exhaust piping will significantly reduce heatsoak in the engine compartment, allowing personnel to work comfortably even when the engine is a full load.

Silencers on waste handling equipment, such as on this Cat 836F unit, are excellent candidates for HeatBlocker. Intricate shapes and curves get full coverage because of our unique pattern-making process.

Details. There is not one that is overlooked on a HeatBlocker kit. This photo shows the intricate pattern of a manifold flap, designed to block radiated heat, and prevent the entry of small particles.
HeatBlocker engineers strive to perfect the fit of all kits by extensive research and pre-fabrication modeling. Intricate details are visualized three-dimensionally, insuring a customized pattern specific to each engine and exhaust system.
Kalb personnel work directly with O.E.M. engineering and staff to determine the specific needs required for each exhaust system to be fitted with a HeatBlocker kit.
Wheel loaders, such as this Cat 938G, are excellent candidates for exhaust system protection. Ease of installation and superior durability are hallmarks of HeatBlocker Ultra Performance exhaust insulation kits.
